After the success of the last lyric video that we worked on, I was pleased to once again collaborate with Director/Creative/Animator Tim Fox on this lyric video for influential American rapper Kid Cudi by hand-drawing the lyrics to the song that were then animated. I was asked to work in black on white to allow Tim to easily change the colours when animating. The video has is gritty and handmade yet somehow feels slightly otherworldly.

I collaborated with Director/Creative/Animator Tim Fox on this lyric video for Sigma by hand-drawing the lyrics to the song which Tim then animated. My artwork was also used as a kind of graffiti texture to stylise and decorate the objects that were the focus of various shots. The brief was pretty open, but the artwork for the single featured a row of rusting cars buried in the desert covered in graffiti, so Tim rebuilt them in 3D and went about exploring similar landscapes for the rest of the video. The video has clocked up over 2.3million views on YouTube.
